Boykin bounced: Fort Riley cancels Delta Force hero’s prayer breakfast speech

Fox News

A Kansas military base abruptly canceled an upcoming prayer breakfast that featured retired Lt. General Jerry Boykin after complaints were lodged that Boykin is anti-Muslim and anti-gay.

Military Religious Freedom Foundation founder Mikey Weinstein told Army Times that Boykin’s invitation had caused great angst among soldiers at Fort Riley – leading some to break down in tears.

“I have clients of ours weeping on the phone about this,” he said.

Weeping? Oh, please.

  1. He’s anti-Muslim. How awful. Aren’t those the folks who think they are supposed to kill all non-believers? (Same thing as non Muslims) So why would he want to kill them, just because they want to kill him. How inconsiderate!

  2. As the daughter of a Naval officer, now deceased, it breaks my heart to see all that is happening today in the military from the political correctness, to the weakening of our forces, and to the neglect of vets. It’s all meant to destroy us from within. God bless all who serve. I pray that freedom to have faith will be restored for those who serve.

  3. This further confirms exactly what you been saying about the weakening of our military. I have nothing against LGBT’s, but when a speech by an experienced commander causes these wimps to weep on the phone because they are uncomfortable, or got their feelings hurt, well…it just makes me sick, and makes me fear for the beating these weak, pathetic individuals will incur on the battlefield.

  4. During my 36 years of active duty I was not once forced to attend a prayer breakfast. This is another example of this administration trying to destroy our great nation. If the Muslims want to crawl back to where they came and stay there then let them go and I will not look to pull the trigger on the next one I see. As for the LGBT stay on your side of the road and do try to push your crap on me and I will not say a thing about you.
