Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam had documents about a nuclear research base in his Brussels flat, according to reports.

German newspapers – citing high-level political sources – claim he had printed out information about the Juelich research centre from the internet.

Printouts of articles about Juelich from the internet, along with photos of its chairman Wolfgang Marquardt, were apparently found at Abdeslam’s Molenbeek address.

A spokesman for Juelich said there was no indication that the centre was compromised or in danger at any point, and said bosses had been in touch with the security authorities and nuclear regulators.
