The Democrats’ real strategy in launching recounts

The recount in Wisconsin, and the coming ones in Michigan and Pennsylvania will not change the outcomes in any of the states.  No recount ever changes thousands of votes.  I do not think that is the purpose.

The recounts, if done by hand, which can be demanded, may take longer than the last day for completing the official counts in a state and directing Electoral College voters.  If all 3 states miss the deadline, Trump is at 260, Hillary at 232.  No one hits 270.

Then this goes to Congress, where the House voting 1 vote per state elects Trump, and Senate selects Pence. This would be first time Pthis happened since 1824, but in that case, John Quincy Adams won in the House, though he had fewer electoral college votes than Andrew Jackson.

If this goes to the US House and Senate, and the result is the same as result from the Electoral College without the recounts, why do it?  The answer is to make Trump seem even more illegitimate, that he did not win the popular vote  (he lost by over 2.1 million), he did not win the Electoral College (did not reach 270), and was elected by being inserted into the presidency by members of his own party in Congress.

  1. TO YOU DEMS—-BACK OFF –AND FACE REALITY —WE NEVER WANTED HILLARY TO WIN. SHE IS EVIL. AND ON TOP OF THAT YOU ARE COSTING THE AMERICAN MONEY THAT WE DON’T HAVE FOR HER DAMN WHIM AND CRYING BECAUSE SHE DIDN’T WIN. THE COUNT IS CORRECT SO LIVE WITH IT. WE DIDN’T CHEAT LIKE SHE DID. WITH DEAD PEOPLE VOTING AND ILLEGALS VOTING. GET OVER IT. AND GROW UP.!!!!!!!!

  2. I think it has multiple purposes. The most important one is candidates for positions is his administration who DO NOT want to be associated with another 2000-esque clown circus/lawsuit/recount debacle (not wanting it to come up every time they are “Googled”) like that will turn down the job or even being vetted or name put out as a candidate for some position.
Then maybe Trump will get poorer personnel, and have more “fail” so they can smear him even more.
The de-legitimization of Trump is not just a goal of this lawsuit. It’s just the one of many they have already are using/testing. He’s a racist, sexist, homophobe, actually any and every sort of “-phobe” known now or invented in the future.
He has “ethics and financial issues” for any and ALL of his businesses and interests financially.
He’s a buffoon who only can think in 140 characters (tweets). He’s an “intellectual light weight”.
He didn’t “Win” the election due to popular vote. Or nebulous “vote fraud” that’s 900% unproveable. He’s an “ist” or “-phobe” about something. Even if it contradicts what was said about him last week or last month.
Like he hates immigrants. So much he married two. He’s a sexist pig. Who put the first American woman in charge of building one of his buildings. Any building up to that point actually.
They are just out to undermine him. It’s like one of those sandlot football games where everyone piles on the most hated guy on the field and do every sort of cheap shot they can where nobody else can see it. They’ll pile on him for anything, and EVERYTHING.
Just for the record, I was never a big supporter of him. Hillary is just so bad that almost anyone else is a better choice. Now he is (Most likely) the President Elect. I hope he does well.
He needs to prove himself. The “Cult of Obama” was bowing down to him and singing his praises before he even had the nomination. He has YET to ever show anything but mediocre performance at best. He greatest accomplishment seems to be to show that INACTION is often worse than a bad decision almost every time.
No matter what Trump does he’s going to be run down. It’ll never be “Damned if you do, Damned if you don’t”. It will just be “Damned No Matter WHAT He does”. PERIOD!

  3. My guess is that the courts will bring this farce to a close using the hated Bush v. Gore precedent. In Pennsylvania, where they have to allege some sort of fraud to obtain the recount, they probably will fail in court unless they find favourable judges; then the appeal will go against them. If Obama is against it, at least one supreme court justice will join the four sure Trump votes. Also, the threat of unrest if they try to overturn the election will tell. Trump’s claim that he actually won the election absent “illegal” votes is also a shot across the bow of the Soros crowd. A real investigation would probably refute this claim but reveal a million or two stolen votes on behalf of the harpy.
