Former Secretary of Labor in the Clinton administration and current University of California Berkeley professor Robert Reich wants Americans to be vigilant this July 4 against “exclusive patriotism” that “asserts a unique and superior ‘Americanism.’”

“We hear a lot about patriotism, especially around the Fourth of July. But in 2016, we’re hearing about two very different types of patriotism. One is an inclusive patriotism that binds us together. The other is an exclusive patriotism that keeps others out,” Reich writes.

  1. If you want to be an American and accept America is it is, support and defend the Constitution, etc. then you are welcome here. But, if you support Islamic law, and don’t accept American law, you certainly are not welcome. That’s what being exclusionary means. Don’t come here to extol Sharia rule and expect friendship. Not gonna happen!

  2. The liberals are stark raving crazy thinking that Americans should not be boisterous and proud to be citizens and show our pride in this country . Too many proud young men have died for our country and freedom to let an idiot tell us not to celebrate the 4th of July . Too many LIBERAL FOOLS !!!!
