A faculty member at Hampden-Sydney College who said he had been fired over his Facebook post weighing in on the national debate surrounding transgender-rights legislation will teach next year at the Virginia college, it announced on Thursday.

Lt. Gen. William (Jerry) Boykin recently took to Facebook saying that he opposed bills that would allow transgender people to use bathrooms reflecting their gender identity. North Carolina has recently faced a national backlash for enacting a bill, HB2, that bans people from entering public bathrooms that do not correspond to their biological sex.

  1. If any guy wants to go into the female bathrooms, tell him to get his plumbing changed to match his stupid idea. This transgender identity stuff is pure hogwash! He can’t be a duck until he removes his drake’s anatomy. At least Bruce Jenner was up front, or should I say is no longer up front.
